Your pet's microbiome, in your pocket.
The BAARK Biome Portal turns your pet's lab results into a clear, readable dashboard. Score, organism findings, trajectory over time, and a vet-ready report you can share in two taps. Available today on web; native iOS and Android apps coming soon.
Everything from your pet's report, readable.
Six tools you get with every BAARK kit. No premium tier, no add-on subscription.
Your dashboard
One screen for the whole picture: your pet's profile, score, key organism findings, and the lab status of any sample currently being processed.
The score, in context
Your pet's Gut Health Score, with diversity and dysbiosis indices, contextualised against age-matched animals in our reference cohort.
Organism findings
Gut bacteria and fungi identified at species level by shotgun metagenomic NGS, oral species quantified by targeted qPCR, with each finding contextualised against age-matched animals in our reference cohort.
Trajectory over time
Every retest goes onto the same pet profile. The portal renders how the score and key organism groups have shifted between timepoints, so you can see direction, not just snapshots.
Suggestions to discuss
Dietary and supplement suggestions tailored to what we found, written in plain English and framed as starting points for a conversation with your veterinarian, not as treatment instructions.
Vet share
Generate a vet-formatted PDF or a read-only share link that your vet can open without creating an account. Per-report sharing, revocable any time.
The same data, on the big screen.
The portal adapts to the device. On desktop, the layout opens out so you can see score, organism findings, and suggestions side by side.
Direction matters more than a single snapshot.
The trajectory view shows how the score and key organism groups have shifted across every test on file, with intervention markers and a confidence band.
- Score has decreased by 0.4y since the last test (Jan to May 2026), continuing a slight downward trend over the full series.
- Diversity is stable across all four timepoints; the small recent uptick is within measurement noise.
- Dysbiosis index has improved from medium to low since the diet change in February. The dysbiosis recovery follows the antibiotic-course rebound visible in the September dip.
- Malassezia signal has reduced after the dietary change but remains above the cohort range. Worth a vet conversation.
- Position vs cohort: Hodor has moved from the median in March 2025 to roughly the 28th percentile in May 2026 (younger end of the distribution).
